Pay as you go Extras

1. These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to our (Vodafone Limited, registered in England number 1471587 at Vodafone House, The Connection, Newbury, Berkshire, RG14 2FN) Pay as you go Extras ("PAYG Extra(s)").

2. These Terms apply in addition to the Pay as you go Airtime Agreement terms ("Airtime Terms") available at vodafone.co.uk/terms

3. Vodafone Pay as you go Extras are available to Vodafone Pay as you go customers, Vodafone Simply, Vodafone Big Value Bundles, Freebies, Smartstep and Smartplus terms.

4. There are two types of Pay as you go Extras:

  • a. Recurring Pay as you go Extras; and
  • b. One-off Pay as you go Extras.

5. You can buy only one of each type of Pay as you go Extra during a 30-day period.

6. Any unused Pay as you go Extra allowance (minutes, texts or data) won't carry over when your 30-day period ends. If you go over your Pay as you go Extra allowance or don't have another Freebie on your account, standard charges will apply.

7. Pay as you go Extras can't be refunded or transferred. They are for your personal, non-commercial use and subject to the Airtime Terms.

8. If you change from Pay as you go to Pay monthly or vice versa you won't be able to carry across any unused minutes, texts and data from your original Pay as you go Extra.

9. We may vary or amend these terms at any time. We'll tell you beforehand where any change is likely to materially disadvantage you.

Recurring Pay as you go Extras

11. Once you purchase a recurring Pay as you go Extra, it will start on the same day you buy it and will expire at the end of the same monthly billing cycle. After this, it will automatically renew every 30 days, unless you opt out.

12. The day the Pay as you go Extra is added to your account will count as the first day. It'll run out at 23:59 UK time on the 30th day of the month.

13. You'll need to make sure you've topped up with enough credit by 11:59pm on day 30 of your allowance so we can renew the Extra, we'll text you to confirm when it's been added. If you don't have enough credit when we try to take payment, we'll send you a text to let you know we've been unable to process the Pay as you go Extra and ask you to top up.

14. There may be a delay of up to two hours from 11:59pm on day 30 before the Pay as you go Extra is added to your account. You can check your account at any time by calling 2345 free from your Vodafone mobile. If you don't have enough credit for your Pay as you go Extra and you've opted into Vodafone IOU, we'll use any IOU credit balance towards payment for your Pay as you go Extra.

15. If you don't want your Pay as you go Extra to renew automatically, you can opt out at any time. Information about opting out is available at vodafone.co.uk/mobile/extras. If you opt out during the 30 days, your current Pay as you go Extra will end on the 30th day.

One-off Pay as you go Extras

16. Once you purchase a one-off Pay as you go Extra, this allowance will expire at the end of the same monthly billing cycle (unless the allowance is for a specified time).

17. If the Pay as you go Extra lasts for a specific period of time, the Pay as you go Extra will end after the specified number of days, or when all the allowance is used, whichever is first.

18. You must have topped up enough credit on your account to purchase a one-off Pay as you go Extra.

19. We will text you to confirm that the one-off Pay as you go Extra has been added.
