This is the first year Vodafone has featured in the Top Employers Institute’s globally recognised certification programme.
The programme, which uses a rigorous assessment based on the HR Best Practices Survey, evaluates companies across areas such as employee wellbeing, development and engagement, touching on everything from leadership and learning and development to talent strategy.
Though recognised companies are not ranked, benchmarking data shows how each has performed against these different criteria compared to other similar companies.
For instance, the report shows that Vodafone is ahead of other telcos – and the overall UK benchmark – by at least 15 percentage points on all key areas measured. This includes:
- Careers, which covers how an organisation supports growth and development.
- Employee Listening, which is all about how we listen to and survey employees, respond to feedback, and act on it.
- Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), which looks at how DEI is ‘lived’ within the organisation.
- Wellbeing, which considers things like raising awareness of mental and emotional health and wellbeing policies.
Previous years have seen Vodafone UK regularly named in the UK’s best workplaces by Great Place to Work. For more information on this latest acknowledgement, visit the Top Employers Institute website.
