The new sponsorship will enable UKAF Rugby to further expand its portfolio of teams to include Rugby Sevens and Veterans.

This has led to the development of a book that showcases 100 Forces Friendly firms, in which Vodafone will now be featured.

The list was published and distributed during the British Ex-Forces in Business Awards on 27 June 2024, where head of Vodafone Business Security Enhanced, Steve Knibbs, was also shortlisted for the Business Leader of the Year (Large Company) award.

A long-time member of the Armed Forces Covenant, Vodafone UK is in the process of re-certification for its ‘Gold Award’ as part of the employer recognition scheme.
