Trade in and save with our EVO plans
Use our Trade-in Tool on the My Vodafone app to find out how much your current device is worth and trade it in to save money on your next EVO plan.
How EVO works
EVO splits your monthly bill into two separate contracts: one for your phone or tablet (we call this a Device Plan), and one for your data, minutes and texts (we call this an Airtime Plan). Your EVO plan is made up of these two components: a device and an airtime plan.
1. Pick your phone
Pick a device and set your own upfront cost, contract length and monthly cost.
2. Pick your airtime plan
Choose an airtime plan with the minutes, texts, data, and add-ons that best suit your needs.
3. Total monthly cost
Your total monthly payment consists of your monthly cost and your monthly airtime plan cost, and you'll see this in your basket.

Got questions?
Your upgrade date depends on the type of plan you have, and how long you’ve been with us.
Log in to your account to find out when you’re eligible to upgrade and what your options are. You can also view this information in the My Vodafone app.
Firstly, you’ll need to check if you’re eligible. You can do that by logging in to your account or checking the My Vodafone app.
The quickest ways to upgrade are online or by starting a Live chat, but you can also do so in store or over the phone.
Online: Log in to your account and take a look at your upgrade options.
Chat: Start a live chat with one of our team. To do this, go to our Support site, type 'upgrade' in the bar that says 'Ask us a question', and then in the drop-down message use the 'Chat to us online' button
Call: Give us a call free on 191 from your Vodafone mobile
In store: Use our store locator to find your nearest Vodafone branch
All our Pay monthly phones, smartwatches, laptops, iPads and tablets are available on Vodafone EVO. The cost of your device will be covered by your Device Plan (also known as your Phone Plan, Watch Plan, Tablet Plan or Laptop Plan, depending on your device).
Depending on the device you choose, you’ll then need to pair it with either an Airtime Plan, Connectivity Plan or Data Plan (as applicable). The cost of both plans together will make up your total monthly cost.
Can I pay for my device in one go?
If you would like to pay for the full cost of your device upfront, visit us in store for more information and full terms and conditions.
With Vodafone EVO, you can choose the length of your Device Plan.
You can spread the cost of phones and smartwatches from 3 to 36 months, while laptops and tablets are between 3 to 48 months.
Airtime Plans (Xtra Plans) are available on either a 12-month or 24-month plan. If you choose a Phone Plan of 13 months or more, it will be paired with a 24-month Airtime Plan. If you choose a Phone Plan of 12 months or less, you can choose whether to pair it with a 12-month or a 24-month Airtime Plan.
Data Plans (for laptops and tablets) are all on 24-month plans, while Connectivity Plans (for smartwatches) are all on 30-day rolling contracts.
You can make a payment at any time.
If you pay off your Airtime Plan to schedule, it will simply be closed, and no more payments will be needed. If you still have an active Device Plan, this plan will continue. If you have insurance on your device, this will also continue until you cancel your Airtime or Data Plan.

If you’ve signed up to receive our marketing communications, we’ll notify you when you’re able to do this. You can find your upgrade date in your My Vodafone account or in the My Vodafone app

A SIM only deal gives you an allowance of data, minutes and texts, all on one SIM card. We offer 12-month and 30-day SIM only plans and Pay as you go SIMs.
Just insert the SIM into any Vodafone mobile phone, or one that's not locked to a different network, to get started.
If it's a new SIM card, you can follow our SIM swap instructions for setting up and keeping your current number.
Choosing a SIM only plan has a number of benefits. It's perfect if your Pay monthly contract has just ended and you want to reduce your monthly costs while you wait for your ideal next phone.
Or if you love the phone you've already got and see no reason to change it, you can continue to use it and enjoy the flexibility SIM only offers.
For an even more flexible option, choose a 30-day SIM contract. If you change your mind or want to upgrade to another phone, it’s up to you.
Opting for a 12-month SIM only contract means you can enjoy even better value 4G data, calls and texts, with cheap SIM only plans starting from under £15 a month.
But you won't be tied down - you can upgrade to a Pay monthly contract with a new device after just 3 months of your SIM only contract.
A SIM only plan gives you data, minutes and texts for a monthly cost.
You don't get a new phone with a SIM only plan, you just get a SIM card, which you insert into your phone to start your plan.
If you get a Pay monthly SIM plan, you'll have a contract. This can range from 30 days up to 24 months.
After your SIM only plan ends, it will continue rolling on a monthly basis until you cancel it.
If you're on a Pay as you go SIM plan, then this is flexible, and doesn't have a contract.
SIM only plans are not a form of credit as you're not borrowing any money in advance - you pay upfront each month for an allowance of data, minutes and texts.
This means it won't impact your credit score.
However, if you pay for your SIM only using direct debit, this can help improve your credit history.
Yes, you can get set up with a new SIM only plan in one of our stores
You can also buy a SIM only plan online, or by calling our customer services team
Once your Phone Plan has been paid off, your monthly payments will automatically drop to your SIM only (we call this your Airtime Plan) payments.
All our SIM only plans come with 5G as standard.
If your phone is 5G-compatible, and you're in an area covered by our 5G network, you'll be able to use it.
In other areas, you can use our 4G network.
Whichever SIM card you need, our Vodafone 3-in-1 Multi SIM will do the job as it includes a Standard SIM, microSIM or nanoSIM - simply pop out the size you need.
If you're already a Vodafone customer and want to swap your Pay monthly contract to SIM only at the end of your agreement, you can keep the SIM card you've already got - we'll do the rest at our end.
Yes you can, but charges vary by destination and what’s included in your plan.
For example, you can use your UK allowance of data, minutes, and texts while abroad (in line with our fair use policy) with selected Xtra plans.
If your plan doesn't include roaming, you can buy a roaming pass to reduce the cost of using your phone abroad.
For more information on roaming passes, roaming with us, and the cost of using your phone abroad, visit our Vodafone roaming page.

What is full fibre broadband?
Most standard broadband services send data down a fast fibre-optic cable to the cabinet in your street (FTTC), and then a much slower service carries that data into your home through copper cables.
When you choose a full fibre plan, a fibre-optic cable is installed directly into your home (FTTP), so much higher broadband speeds can be achieved - up to 910 Mbps†!
Vodafone Full Fibre Broadband speeds
Wondering how long it takes to download a game on our fastest full fibre broadband plans, or how many people can stream TV shows simultaneously?
We've compared download and upload speeds for you.
