About Alfie

Alfie was born on 6 December 1997 in Norwich, England. Alfie began playing wheelchair tennis at 8 years old. Before tennis became his main priority, he studied sports science. Alongside his love for tennis, he is a big fan and supporter of Norwich City FC.

The rise of a tennis champion - Alfie Hewett

Alfie celebrates his journey of triumph over adversity. Alongside the emotional connection Alfie has formed with his friends, family and supporters, digital connection has played a vital role in fuelling Alfie’s journey to become a sporting champion.

As a Vodafone Ambassador and part of the ‘Play Your Way to Wimbledon’ competition, Alfie hopes he can ‘shine a light on disability tennis in the UK’ and inspire young people in the UK to watch wheelchair tennis players on television this summer.
