How we helped visually impaired fans at Wimbledon 2023
We used our 5G technology to help visually impaired tennis fans watch the live action on Centre Court and Number 1 Court.
Using live footage from local TV cameras, the 5G-powered headsets developed by GiveVision enhanced the footage to suit the wearer's specific sight profile, which helped them enjoy the championship.

Play Your Way to Wimbledon, powered by Vodafone
Play Your Way to Wimbledon, powered by Vodafone, and its inclusive categories will be back in 2025.
Play Your Way to Wimbledon (PYWTW) is the UK’s largest mass participation tennis competition. The 2023 competition saw the introduction of wheelchair, visually impaired, and learning disability categories. In the future we could see new categories like para-standing and deaf tennis.
Entries for Play Your Way to Wimbledon, powered by Vodafone, will open in February 2025, with thousands of UK players from clubs, parks, and schools set to take part.
