iPhone 15 vs iPhone 16
Which one is best for you?
The iPhone 16 is part of Apple's 2024 release, following the iPhone 15's success. Featuring Apple Intelligence (coming December 2024), the iPhone 16 is one of the first Apple devices to have artificial intelligence built into the device - so you can get things done more effortlessly than ever before.
Like iPhone 15, iPhone 16 is housed in an aluminium design, with five different colours and two different screen sizes to choose from (6.1" or 6.7" for the Plus) and their displays are Super Retina XDR. One difference between the models is iPhone 16's action button, which was previously only available on last year's iPhone 15 Pro. The action button is customisable - just press and hold to launch the action you want, whether that's Shazam to recognise a song or the flashlight to help you when it's dark.
The iPhone 16 also offers a faster A18 chip in comparison to iPhone 15's A16, as well as more camera features. Whilst both iPhones have a 48MP camera and a 12MP Ultra Wide lens, the iPhone 16 offers macro photography, 4K Dolby Vision video recording, spatial capture, and new camera control features so you capture even better pictures than before.
If you're choosing between iPhone 15 or iPhone 16, it comes down to whether you want more advanced features. The iPhone 15 is a great phone and still shares similarities with iPhone 16. However, iPhone 16’s Apple Intelligence is a standout addition and bundled with a faster chip, more camera features, an action button - it’s a great choice.
